And so the journey continues… by car though, instead of by plane. While checking in at the airport, it was suddenly announced that the flight was cancelled. No worries. Local organizer Ashgar had a van arranged within an hour with food and drinks
6 hours later, as I am writing this, we are at 1/3rd or the long journey towards Skardu over the hills and sketchy roads filled with water and sometimes goats or cows.
But….the road is closed due to snowfall. We have to be patient! We checked in to the Blue Glacier hotel and we’re immediately served a delicious meal. Tomorrow at 5 we continue our trip..
